TTOA Together We Stand: Non-Death Grief

We are in an unprecedented period of upheaval and loss. Many of us are still reeling from Covid 19, the Toxic Drug Crisis, and the War against the poor and working class. Current events including war, closure of SCS and significant shifts in migration patterns have caused additional pain and worry. 

This has been a very painful time for many of us with Multiple Losses and a changing global landscape with war and displacement of millions of people. 

This can be called Disenfranchised Grief, also known as hidden grief or sorrow, refers to any grief that goes unacknowledged or invalidated by social norms. This kind of grief is often minimized or not understood by others, which makes it particularly hard to process and work through.
